I had unprotected sex last night and I think I was ovulating. I’m really worried that I could get pregnant. Is there anything that I can take, just to be safe? Or do I need to see a doctor?

Plan B One-Step is an emergency contraceptive that can reduce the possibility of pregnancy following unprotected sex. The pill is most effective if taken immediately or within 3 days after unprotected sexual intercourse. This product is available for women 15 years of age and older without a prescription. However, emergency contraception does not protect against STDs so you should still see your doctor and be examined.
